In the distant future, the Earth's biosphere will be on the verge of ecosystem collapse. The year is 2498. The remaining Earth governments formed a collective bureaucracy to look to the stars for survival. Joilee is a government agricultural scientist assigned to the Alpha Centauri System to the intergalactic ship, "The Oldumare," to survey the planet Sierra Alpha Prime. However, after an energy weapon destroys the ship, Joilee finds herself stranded with a primitive humanoid race.
